ART
Remy Morris, a UK-based artist and prosthetic makeup artist, centres her practice on the body as a medium for emotional expression. Her work spans wearable sculpture and prosthetic design, most notably her signature studded hearts. These recurring forms serve as both adornment and metaphor, exploring vulnerability, protection and the emotional weight of the body.
Morris’s art delves into themes of self-love, acceptance and the intricate connection between physical and emotional identity. More recently, her focus has shifted to heartbreak and grief, using the heart as a symbolic vessel to translate personal loss into tactile sculptural form. Her pieces invite viewers to contemplate how emotions can be embodied, worn and made visible.
In 2026, Morris collaborated with Hellavagirl for their London Fashion Week SS26 Oxford fashion studio presentation, where models showcased her wearable sculptures on the runway. Positioned between contemporary art, prosthetic practice and fashion, her work challenges conventional distinctions between ornament, protection and the body itself. Morris proposes wearable objects as sites of memory resilience and transformation.
